Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Willy's Emporium

A little late with today's post! Usually I do my posts a little after midnight, but I conked out at the supernaturally early hour of 9:30pm last night. I must have been tired!

I found the coolest shop in Old Colorado City the other day! It's called Willy's Emporium and it features items and treats from jolly olde England, Scotland and Wales. (Apparently it's been there for years, I'm just a little slow.) I love England! I love Maltesers (yes I bought a box). They have lots of the same kind of stuff you'd find in any tourist shop in London, but they also have all the yummy treats you pine for if you're an Englishman stranded in Colorado Springs. They even have Irn Bru (i.e. "iron brew"), the official soft drink of Scotland. I dare you to try it -- it's definitely not for wimps. Check it out!

There are the odd British goods shops here. I wonder if that drink would be there. I wouldn't mind having a go at it.

We tried Irn Bru in England once and couldn't finish it. It was SO sweet. I bought a bottle at Willy's Emporium when I took these pictures. I want to video Pat trying to drink it. LOL!
