Today was cold and I never even left the house, and rummaging through my "stock" photos of Colorado Springs I couldn't find anything that I liked enough to put here on the blog. I did come across a decent snap of a Starr Kempf mobile sculpture that I snapped from my car window as I waited in traffic on January 22nd. But I didn't like the sky in the photo, it was completely washed out. What to do?
If you take a close look at this photo you'll see it's an imposter! A poseur, a visual white lie. I used the aforementioned photo and replaced the blown out sky with the sky from this photo. In this day and age, you can't always believe everything you see! Sometimes I use my Photoshop skills for good, sometimes I use them for evil (*insert sinister laugh here*).
More on the wonderful Starr Kempf another time, when I get a worthy photo of one of his masterpieces.

I like the composition anyway. Well done with photoshop!
It's a beautiful photo even if you did have to be a bit sinister!
Ha! I believed it!
