The last of my vacation pictures, from my short trip to San Clemente, California, a couple of weeks ago. On this trip I didn't have a lot of "me" time, since Janet and Ethan, in addition to their busy careers, have an 11 year-old daughter who needs shuttling back and forth between her various activities, and I didn't have a car of my own at my disposal. Janet did kindly loan me her car on my last morning there, so I could make a quick trip to the beach to sit alone and enjoy the waves for a precious hour. (Thank you Janet!) I love the beach. Even just a few minutes of watching the waves leaves me feeling completely recharged.
