Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Fairview Cemetery

Yesterday I blogged about one of Fairview Cemetery's more famous "residents". Today, a few gravestones of lesser known, yet no less important, Colorado Springs citizens.
Not all of the gravestones are old. This one is very modern.

Here's a close up of the rock that sits upon it.

Such short lifespans. I'm sure it was a hard life, trying to make it in a rough and tumble frontier town.

This type of burial is very original,I never have seen anything like it. The Latin says :" Nulla dies sine letra "

Quite a contrast in gravestones... and a beautiful cemetery.
