Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Las Vegas trip [Part 3]

Today's post features images from the Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend Burlesque Showcase! Burlesque is all about an elaborately costumed dancer performing a titillating striptease until she's almost completely naked, so it goes without saying that this post contains some NSFW images. But I'll say it anyway, since I don't normally blog anything even remotely racy here: this post contains some NSFW images.

I'll give you a minute to think about that. How about you mull it over while looking at this picture of some people driving by in a weird mashup of a 1940s-ish truck and what looks like a late 1950s~early 1960s Ranchero. Or something like that.

Hm. Now go and ask your mom if it's okay for you to look at pictures of nearly naked ladies. While you're waiting for her to answer, check out this cool Japanese rockabilly band called the Pringles. Don't ask me how they came up with that for a band name (maybe they really like potato chips?). Who cares, they were a blast and they put on a great show for us.

Okay, now that you've had a minute to think about it, and your mom gives you her permission, here are a few images from the burlesque show. (And if music aids your imagination, listen to THIS as you look at the photos.)

Last but not least, here's a little video snippet of one of the performances. You're welcome.

I told you it was racy. Now get back to work, you.
