Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Dramatic skies above Westcliffe

A day or two after I got home from California, Pat and I decided to take a random road trip to  Westcliffe, about 75 miles away. I was feeling stressed out from all the travel, and the mountains always recharge my batteries. We had been having quite a spate of rainy weather. I guess Westcliffe was too, because look at these skies! As Pat and I got closer and closer, the light and shadows got more and more dramatic. We hung around town and explored for a bit before the rain started to really come down. It turns out we were there on the weekend of a big bluegrass festival -- Westcliffe was hoppin'! I'll share a few more pictures over the next day or two.
