Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Cathedral Park

Several miles northeast of Victor, on a washboard road, you'll find Cathedral Park. It's not easy to get to but it's worth the effort. The road is actually a former railroad route that connected Colorado Springs to Cripple Creek and Victor, as seen in THIS colorized photo from about 1901. What an absolutely beautiful spot. Colorado, we love you!
The conclusion of the last several posts that started with Phantom Canyon Road:  another old tunnel, and many more miles to go on a dusty washboard road before making it back to Colorado Springs. It was a great day!

Jaw dropping comes to mind for this landscape.
