This is Kissing Camels, one of the more distinct rock formations in the Garden of the Gods. When we first moved here, we came across a street named Kissing Camels and I didn't get the reference. I just thought it was an incredibly silly and nonsensical thing to name a street. Eventually I figured it out! ;o)
You can really see how the rock got its name. It's picturesque on any day of the year, but especially so in the late afternoon sunshine of an Indian summer day.
