Yesterday we experienced some strange weather indeed! It started off fairly balmy (at least for January), then the temperature dropped very suddenly and it began to sleet. Late in the afternoon I dropped by the post office, and as I was leaving I could see that the clouds had just as suddenly cleared and we were treated to a pretty pink and blue sunset. Very odd! Here's a snapshot I grabbed at that moment. A few seconds later, the sunset was gone.

Your weather story sounds like what Florida has been experiencing over the last few weeks. This morning it's 64 and 10 days ago it was in the 30s. Very strange for us.
We've had some weather weirdness around here too! Four inches of rain already this morning along with tornado warnings, flooding, hail and severe thunderstorms. I hate it!
