Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Our state flower

A swath of Columbines (Aquilegia), Colorado's state flower, in the demonstration garden at Monument Valley Park recently. This yellow variety is particularly cheerful, don't you think?

Cheerful, indeed!
The Colombine has always been one of «Louis'» favorite flowers.

Very pretty! I've never seen yellow ones before.

I remember being so excited the first time I saw a wild columbine in Colorado. It was up at 7-mile reservoir I believe.

Very very beautiful.
