San Antonio


My dear readers, I apologize for my long absence! I hate to be away from the blog for so long, but in this case I really was away -- I was in Texas! I took a few pictures for you. Here's the first one: the interior of an old deli and restaurant called Schilo's, in downtown San Antonio. More to come!

I have always wanted to go there. Did you go on the River Walk? Nice shot!

Randy, I pretty much ONLY went to the River Walk since that's where our hotel was. I was at a photography conference and didn't have much of a chance to do anything (I even missed the Alamo, which was only 2 blocks away). Next time I'll explore the city!

I've never been to Texas ... but I like the inside of that deli - the dark wood and high ceilings give a friendly feel to the place! It sounds like you must have had a good time at your conference!
