I came across this pet cemetery on the outskirts of Salida, across the street from an animal hospital. There are a lot of well-loved critters buried here. I loved the names: Scooter, Rusty, Buffy, Tasha, Meatball. There was one simply named Cat. This little guy, Meatball, had a good long run. At 13, assuming he was a big dog as his name suggests, that's about 90+/- in dog years!

Pet cemetery
