Pat hadn't been to the DAM in quite a while and he was wanting to catch their current exhibition, "Blink! Light, Sound & the Moving Image" before it closed, so we made a special trip up to Denver just to check it out. There were all kinds of thought-provoking pieces, including an exceptionally creative one by Maria Friberg (a snippet of which you can view in the video below). It was suspended from the ceiling and meant to be viewed from underneath. Pretty cool!
If you live in the area and have an opportunity to get to the DAM before May 1st, you should really take an afternoon to check out this exhibit. I promise you'll enjoy it!

I like this. Reminds me of the Walker Art Center back home in Minneapolis: http://twincities-photorama.blogspot.com/2010/05/semblance-of-whole.html
