The Dorchester Park Community Garden, inaugurated last year, exists to grow fresh food organically for the Marian House soup kitchen, the Springs Rescue Mission and the Urban Peak youth shelter. Clients of the soup kitchen and shelters take part in the gardening, which I think is great. There's something wonderful about growing the food that you eat.
