Kimball's Twin Peak Cinema
If you've been wondering where to see foreign, independent and art films in Colorado Springs, this is the place. Kimball's has been featuring "small" films for a couple of decades now. Before Kimball bought it, it was simply known as the Peak (or Twin Peak because it has two screens). Back then it wasn't always arty films -- I remember seeing Weekend at Bernie's there ;o) Since Kimball acquired it in the early '90s, though, it has consistently featured the kind of films you'd be hard-pressed to find at the local mega-multiplex. Plus they have the coolest neon sign in town! I'll take a photo of it by night one of these days and share it with you here.

Only movie theater in town where you can enjoy a beer or a glass of wine with your movie too!
I love these old theaters. They have so much more character. Can't wait to see the evening shot.
