Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Another day, another election

Yesterday was another election: School District 11 director (vote for up to four), Proposition 103 (yes or no), and Issue 2B (yes or no). I like that we have these ballot drop-offs now. It makes it even easier to vote -- just drive up to the curb and the nice election volunteer comes up and takes it from you. Easy peasy!

I would love to have drive-up ballot drop-offs. We still have to drive to the library, fight for a place to park, walk into the main library, and stuff the ballots into the boxes ourselves.

Good thing I love the library!!!

hmmm...
It seems it would be easy for voter fraud to take place, too...
(Pardon «Louis'» cynicism, but he's seen too many instances locally of voter fraud perpetrated by ACORN - and this in an area where "their side" already constitues the majority of voters...)

Looks like nice moving drive up.

Louis they literally will put the ballot into the box right then and there. I actually parked and walked up, instead of driving up, and I got to deposit my ballot instead of giving it to the official. So I don't think there was any fraud going on there :)
