The brown, shriveled coreopsis in my front garden was coated in hoarfrost on frigid Sunday, but on Monday we had springlike temperatures and all the frost melted away. Today: more snow! (I am typing this in the wee hours of the morning and the predicted snowstorm is expected to start very soon.) Yes it's March, that fitful month when we receive the most snowfall, and it's usually of the soggy, heavy variety. But it always makes for nice pictures, don't you agree?

It has been an interesting winter here, too, Massimo! Saluti!
Hoarfrost always makes for appealing shots.
Here we're told not to expect anything like warmer weather until sometime in April.
Such a beautiful shot.
