First Baptist Church
A photo of First Baptist Church on the southeast corner of Weber and Kiowa. It was built in 1890-91 in the Romanesque Revival style, replacing a smaller church on the same site. I've only been inside once, to attend the wedding of a friend way back in college, and I do remember that the sanctuary was quite beautiful. I really like the bell tower and I'd love to explore it.
On a side note, I've been really sick this week and spent the last couple of days in bed, feeling sorry for myself. Hopefully I'll be able to rustle up a photo for tomorrow, even if it means I have to dig through my archives to find one! I've managed to post every single day this year (a first!), and I'd hate to make it all the way to August 27th and then miss a day, but if I do, apologies in advance!

The tower looks rather slender, but I like the look of the church!
Beautiful looking church.
