Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

It's high season for rudbeckia

We've had a fairly mild,  lovely summer with plenty of rain and plenty of sunshine, and the rudbeckia are showing their appreciation all over town. It always makes me happy to see their bright yellow faces turned toward the sun.

They are beautiful. I think we called these Black-eyed Susans when I was little.

Yes, that's the common name for them Bibi, and the Latin is rudbeckia. I enjoy them so much :^)

It is nice the way the light and composition add to this beautiful image.
