Two days of snow, beautiful snow
We've gotten a few inches of snow over the last couple of days, and it's been uniformly cold. The whole city looks serene and beautiful. The skies have been unrelentingly, uncharacteristically overcast as well, so instead our usual bright sun, there's been an ethereal, soft glow everywhere you go. I can't describe how pretty everything looks. Above is a photo taken yesterday afternoon at the corner of San Miguel and Tejon in the Old North End, and below, the lovely late-morning commute to my studio. Tomorrow I'll post a couple more snow pictures that I took yesterday. The temperatures are supposed to warm up and the sun will come back out today, and though most of us here will probably be rejoicing in the warmth, I'll be sad to see the snow melt away until next time.

The seconded photo expresses winter conditions the best in a urban setting the best. At least you got off easy with the snow fall.
They are beautiful photos of winter and ... besides street in Spanish.
Tomás.
This top photo is fantastic! I too have really been enjoying the snow these past couple of days. It is so gorgeous! Kelly
Gorgeous! That really is my kind of weather.
Love that second shot. We didn't get nearly as much.
