We got a lot of snow over the weekend. It wasn't so much a blizzard, or even a storm, as it was a near-constant snowfall that lasted two days. We were warned well in advance that heavy weather would first make its appearance on Friday evening, with the real snow starting on Saturday afternoon. I captured the incoming storm on Friday afternoon around 1:00pm. This is actually three photos put together in Photoshop: one looking southward, one looking southwest, and one looking to the west. As you can see, to the south we had bright blue skies, but to the west it was almost completely dark. By 2:30pm the snow started to come down. On Sunday, it snowed without stop for hours on end. It's lovely out there!
Here's a little video I shot late in the afternoon on Saturday, as the snow was just getting going:
And for all my local readers: stay home if you can, the roads are a mess! Be safe, just hang out at home and enjoy some down time. Cheers!

We've had days like that- a steady, constant snowfall without letup.
Seems like it keeps missing us. It was supposed to snow yesterday and today. I think I saw all of two flakes.
