As promised in yesterday's post, here are a few pictures of the duck pond at Monument Valley Park. With all the rain we've been having this month, it's nearly overflowing its banks. In the photo above you can see that the little island in the middle of the pond is completely submerged. But the ducks and geese don't seem to mind!
This Canada goose was bummed that I didn't have a snack for him. Next time, goose, I promise!
We got a few minutes of blue skies on Tuesday before the rain decided to return. It was a nice respite.
