Nothing says "summertime in the USA" quite like the simple pleasure of a soft serve ice cream cone. This 1950s era ice cream/burger shop near my studio is only open during the warm months. It makes me so happy every summer when they open for the season! Pat and I went by there the other day for some ice cream, and yes, it was delicious!

It certainly looks retro! I can think of a burger joint in our cottage country that opens up when it warms up, and is busy through to closing time in the fall.
I love this place! Especially the burgers.
