I was at the Broadmoor on Friday morning for a photography job -- some clients whose wedding I shot there ten years ago wanted to renew their vows in the same place, wearing their wedding clothes. I've photographed quite a few weddings at the Broadmoor (and other events too), but I'm never there so early in the morning, so I took advantage of the great lighting to get this shot of the front of the hotel. It looks fabulous in full morning sun! I also got a few random shots of the grounds here and there as I worked. You really can't take a bad picture at the Broadmoor, it's 100% photogenic!
The photo at the top of this post is of the main hotel, built in 1918. Across the lake is Broadmoor West, built in the 1970s in the style of the original building.
