Pat and I dropped by the Farmers Market a couple of weekends ago. We had a nice time browsing the many stalls, listening to the live music (a cool rocksteady/ska band called Mo Mungus), and buying tasty goodies. I took a few pictures for you.
This guy designs and sells custom t-shirts. He had some pretty cool stuff! You can find him on Facebook HERE.
This lady was selling her gourmet salsa, based on giardiniera, which is basically a condiment that's very popular in the Chicago area. You can find out more about it HERE.
We bought some veggies from this lady, who was representing Hunt or Gather, a local food co-op whose motto is "from seed to plate". It's all about eating locally grown food. They have a great mission that I fully support!
This cute gal designs and sells custom aprons. They were all adorable! You can buy one HERE (heck you might just want them all!).
Some great looking handmade jewelry! This vendor, Jamie's Jems, doesn't have a website, but you can find her at (719) 576-3577.
Last but not least, we couldn't leave without buying some sweets from Bella's Bakery & Bistro, served up with a smile!

Nice smiles !

It looks like quite a busy area. The baking would suit me nicely.
