What do you think of the trend toward non-white wedding gowns? I like it! As a person who works in this industry, I'm excited to see that brides have many more choices now in the color of their dress. Not everyone looks great in bright white, after all. I was at Bridal Elegance the other day, picking out a few wedding gowns for a photo shoot I will be doing next month, and I couldn't help but notice the many pretty pastel gowns all over the store (I believe the one above is by David Tutera). Lovely!

As a white mom of a nonwhite son through adoption, I always cringe at the equating of white with purity. We did not use a white christening gown when my son was baptized. Good to see changes! KT
Quite a dress. Just as long as it's not fluorescent orange.
Lovely images, especially that last one.
