Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

An old telephone

A couple of weekends ago, Pat and I went to the Denver Modernism Show, which always has great vendors selling tons of vintage stuff. I took a few pictures, which I'll post tomorrow, so consider today's post a teaser. I fell in love with this phone and wanted to buy it. But I resisted the urge, though I did buy a few other choice goodies!

It's such an odd thought to me that this phone is considered "old", and there there are tons of people out there now who've never used a land line like this, especially one with a dial. I guess it's a "vintage" find now.

More Denver Modernism Show pictures tomorrow!

I had a yellow rotary phone way back when I first got married and that was in the 1980s.

I remember one like that in our house. That would have been the late eighties.
