The old Buena Vista School on the west side


The Westside Community Center occupies the former Buena Vista School. It's good to see these old schools being put to good use after they've been retired, instead of sitting empty and gathering grafitti. More on the WCC and all its great programs tomorrow!

That is a good use of the building. A former school here was converted into a community center on one side, and an alternative high school on the other.
