December 16, 2008


This midcentury building is just a few yards from my friend Walt's lovely old Victorian home, in the Near West Side neighborhood. I took this photo on December 16, 2008 --  it must have been after leaving Walt's house. I liked the blockish forms juxtaposed against the sinuous tire tracks in the compacted snow of the parking lot, but for some reason this photo never made it onto the blog until now. I'm glad I finally decided to show it off.
