This post comes late in the day because I'm again having some tech difficulties. The good news is that I'm in the process of fixing the problem (yay!), the bad news is that it has taken up my entire day and it's still not finished (booooooo!). Meanwhile, please let me entertain you with this photo of the old St. Francis Hospital, which is near my house. I took this picture on Sunday. The old part of the hospital was originally built in 1887 and then apparently torn down and rebuilt at some point about 20 years later. The adjacent (and quite ugly) building to the left of it was added in the mid 1960s to mid '70s. Unfortunately, St. Francis Hospital was completely abandoned around 2010 and is still sitting empty. I really wish someone would buy it and convert it to living space or artist studios/work spaces. Anything but empty!
