Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

New York (Part 1)

I'm back among the living! Well, sort of. I'm momentarily revived, let's say. So before I pass out from the sinus meds again, let me share some pictures from last week's trip to NYC! I don't know how long this series is going to go, but I got lots of great pictures so I'll just keep sharing for the next several days until I run out. Some of these are cell phone pics. We spent our first full day in Manhattan at the Museum of Modern Art. I've been there before but it's been a long time. It was wonderful being surrounded by so many masterpieces! These photos don't do it justice -- you really should go there some day and see them for yourself. I'll post more tomorrow.

Restaurant at the MoMA -- great food! A little expensive, but that's to be expected.
Henri Rousseau, The Sleeping Gypsy
Vincent van Gogh, The Starry Night. Pat was especially mesmerized by this painting.
Henri Matisse, Goldfish and Sculpture

The Van Gogh is my favourite of those!
