Nearing the end of our vacation pictures... here are a few images from our last day in New York City, which we largely spent at the wonderful Metropolitan Museum of Art. I wish we'd had longer than a few hours to hang out there, but we managed to see some beautiful works in the limited time we at the Met. I'll post a few today and a few more tomorrow.

An enormous wing filled with nothing but Greek and Roman antiquities. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Treasures, all of them.

The Monet and Klimt ones particularly speak to me- but then I was gazing at some of their works here yesterday.
