The first of every month is Theme Day for City Daily Photo bloggers, and August's theme is music. It's been months since I've had a chance to participate in Theme Day, mostly because I haven't had the time to go out "on assignment," so to speak, on the hunt for a specific photo. The same thing is true for this month, which is why this image may seem like a bit of a stretch for the theme! Allow me to explain: Pat and I were in Westcliffe a couple of weeks ago, and as I was taking this picture (as well as the one at the bottom of yesterday's post), we were standing mere yards from a large bluegrass festival. So there you go! You may not be able to "see" the music in this photo, but we could hear it. 😊
