Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Road Trip to Durango (Part 6)

Durango is a little over fifty miles from Farmington, New Mexico, and my brother Chuck reminded me that there's a Muffler Man in Farmington, so of course we couldn't pass up the opportunity to add pictures of him to our collection! If you're a regular reader of this blog, you probably know that Pat and I are somewhat fanatical about Muffler Men and will go out of our way on road trips to find one. So fifty miles was nothing! If you've never heard of Muffler Men, by all means take a minute to read about them HERE. The one in Farmington is called Sunny the Big Man, and he's dressed in baseball garb in honor of the Connie Mack World Series held there every summer. In fact, we just happened to be there around that time (maybe he's only dressed like that during Connie Mack week?). Anyway, we were thrilled to find him and I took lots of pictures. After that, we explored Farmington's downtown a bit. Pictures of that tomorrow!

I think that's the first I've seen one of those.
