Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Fellow Americans, have you voted yet? We took care of it today. Fortunately, here in El Paso County we receive our ballots by mail well ahead of election day. If you have not yet received yours, please call (719) 575-8683. They make it as easy as possible for us to vote here, so do it! And did you know that in Colorado you can register to vote late as election day, and still be able to cast your ballot? (You can register at a Voter Service and Polling Center or at any of the numerous Clerk and Recorder/DMV locations around town.) The deadline for mailing your ballot in to the county has passed, but there are numerous polling centers and ballot boxes all over the area. If you go to a polling center, you'll drop your ballot in the box and be rewarded by a smiling human giving you an "I Voted" sticker, which is nice. Ballot boxes, on the other hand, are super convenient, because you can go at any time of day or night. Some of them are even drive up! To find the nearest polling center or ballot box, click HERE. And please vote, there's no excuse not to! Every voice matters, especially yours!
