Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Pat and I went for a Sunday drive yesterday, and it ended up being almost 200 miles round trip! I guess we really needed to decompress. We usually go west on these occasions, but this time we headed east, all the way to Limon. We stopped in tiny Elbert, where I photographed this beautiful old Presbyterian church. I wonder when it was built. It's definitely still in use.

It wouldn't surprise me if it dated to the end of the 19th century. It certainly looks well taken care of.
