Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Things went downhill fast

The day started out very sunny and almost hot. So warm, in fact, that I turned on the air conditioning at my studio for my client's comfort. Later in the day, I had a shopping date in Old Colorado City with my friend Jennifer, and as I headed west, as you can see, the weather had quite deteriorated. It was so windy! And you can always tell when it's going to snow -- the mountain disappears. Things rapidly got progressively windier and snowy, and as I type this, we've got a legitimate storm on our hands. I guess it's winter, after all.

I do like the mood to this shot.

Here we have thick fog today.
