Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

The Town Crier

This crow was in our yard the other day, cawing loudly and enthusiastically to the other neighborhood birds. I noticed it had a distinct, repeating pattern: "CAW CAW CAW CAW!" followed by a five second pause, then "CAW CAW CAW CAW!" again. It makes you wonder what it was communicating. I have no doubt that birds have their own very intricate, precise  language that will always be a mystery to us humans.

We have them here of course. I've always liked them.
