Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!
Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

It looks much more like a house.
William, you're absolutely right, it's an old mansion. The church held services here from 1959 to 1966 while the sanctuary was being built. The sanctuary is attached to the mansion via a passageway if I remember correctly (it's been a while since I've been inside). Prior to 1959, First Lutheran was located in various different places around the city. The church was founded in 1892.
Yes! It looks much like a rather romanesque house rather than church...but a lovely building. Thanks for the information.
