We have a lot of great public art in our downtown. We also have an overabundance of bars, which means drunk people who aren't necessarily on their best behavior, and we have our share of transients, some of whom occasionally indulge in petty crime or vandalism. Some of our art has consequently suffered. It's too bad, but now you'll find this caution stenciled to the sidewalk near each piece these days.
