Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Viva Las Vegas or Bust! (Part 2)

I wanted to show you lots of Grand Canyon pictures in this post, but I shot a wedding for ten hours today and I'm pooped, so I'm posting just one for now. This shot gives you a small indication of the amount of tourists we encountered. There was about a 15-20 minute wait to get in because there were so many cars, and when we got to the first vantage point, where the visitor center is, we couldn't find a parking spot! It was nuts! I was surprised by the number of people. I went to the Grand Canyon once before, several years ago with a a friend. It was March and we were practically the only ones there. I didn't think April would be so busy.

Tomorrow is Sunday Style, but on Monday I'll pick right back up again with more Grand Canyon photos.

A symphony in stone.

Good grief. Now we know. The only time I was there was barely April...and there were only a few people there. But that was long ago. A stunning place, though I liked Canyon de Chelly better. On more of a human scale....
Once again, thanks for your postings.
