Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Pikes Peak and Cascade Avenues

On October 5th I went to pick up some books at the downtown library, and as I was leaving, my short wait at this red light was so pleasant, I had to snap a cell phone picture. It was such a perfect fall day! I don't know what the yellow sculpture is called, but it's been a downtown fixture for a while now. The intersection of Cascade and Pikes Peak is its latest location.

Great photo! My financial group does the flower bed for that intersection each year and I always felt that sculpture was the best backdrop to it all.
