Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Windy Peak

I spent most of today at a wedding fair at Bridal Elegance for Small Business Saturday. I did take a little break to go home for lunch, and as I was driving I couldn't help but notice how gorgeous Pikes Peak looked. So after I finished eating I grabbed a camera and quickly drove to the downtown library, where there's a great view of the mountain, and snapped a few pictures before heading back to Bridal Elegance. Later I read that the winds on top of the mountain were something like 65 miles per hour, so that's not just clouds you're seeing shrouding the summit, it's also blowing snow.

Lovely photo, and certainly not a good time to be up there. Sheesh.
