Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

It's Going to Be a Hot Cocoa Kind of Night

It started snowing last night and hasn't let up since; today was very cold and windy in addition to the snow. By late afternoon, we had about six inches of the white stuff, and it's still coming down. It's definitely going to be a hot cocoa kind of night!

Oh my. While we are full on into spring where I live, this makes me remember when I lived where snow was on the ground all year. I loved it.
Of course it was only 2 years....and I was young, and it was upstate NY where it didn't get killer cold. But falling snow is so quiet and makes things so beautiful...all refuse is covered up...so lovely to watch from a warm place. With cocoa.

We have had some snow, including today, but not like that.
