Today as my friend Jenn and I headed up the pass to Green Mountain Falls to get away from the heat, we came across these vacationers in one of the cutest cars I've ever seen. It wasn't going very fast, but then again Ute Pass is steep and winding, and this car looked pretty old and not particularly built for speed. I looked it up -- it's a Premier Padmini, made in India. Apparently this make of automobile was manufactured between 1964 and 2000. As I understand it, Premier Padminis were very popular in India and there are still many of them on the road there to this day. What a cute ride!

A well taken care of car.
Not only is the car not very aerodynamic, but the luggage arrangement isn't either. No wonder they were put-putting along. I myself like this speed of travel - gives you a chance of seeing what's going on outside the window.
