Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

What Goes Up Must Come Down

July is our hottest month and the next several days are projected to be nothing short of miserable. Tomorrow it's supposed to be sunny and 95°F (35°C), with no cloud cover like we had today. I'm not looking forward to it. I know it gets much hotter in other places, but to us in Colorado Springs, that kind of heat feels like the bowels of hell. Thankfully we only get a couple of weeks of oven-like temperatures per year, so I won't complain too much.

Every summer, when the weather gets obnoxiously hot like this, I blog a picture of a snowy day to remind us all that what goes up must come down. This was taken in our backyard on April 13th. Stay cool out there, friends! Before you know it, it'll be snowing again!

And  now, for your listening pleasure...

We're in that heat right now. I miss that kind of snow.
