Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Hidden Gems (Part 2)

Here's the second installment in my series on little mom and pop businesses that are either nestled in out of the way places or hiding in plain sight. This cute little German food cart definitely falls under the latter description. It's called Imbiss and you can find it parked in front of a house on the corner of busy Palmer Park Boulevard and Bates Drive. And yes, it's owned and operated by a bonafide German person, Sonja Munson. From what I understand, imbiss is the German word for snack, and an imbiss is a German food cart or stand. So there you go! If you're in midtown and you're craving a bratwurst, drop by and see Sonja at Imbiss!
