Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Stem Beach... Almost

Pat and I randomly took a drive southward a few days ago, and I thought it might be fun to check out Stem Beach, just below Pueblo. It's one of those places you pass on the interstate without stopping. I honestly have no idea if it's really a body of water with a beach or if that's just the name of the place. We never did find out. After exiting the interstate and driving around aimlessly for a bit, all we found was a medical marijuana place with a dinosaur on the roof. That's it. One lonely building right off the interstate, and no town or beach to be seen. We will have to go back another day and search again.

Ha.Many years ago I was in Pueblo every few years. Never saw a sign for stem beach. Do you suppose they had enough clout to get a sign??? Although one may not want stems in one's marijuana. I don't have a clue at my age.
