Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

The Olympic and Paralympic Museum

I showed you a nighttime view of our newest museum at the end of last year, and now here's a good daytime shot of it, so you can appreciate how cool it looks! I took this yesterday morning. I'm not sure if it's closed because of the pandemic or it's just closed on Tuesdays, but when I saw that the parking lot was empty I seized the opportunity to get an uncluttered snap.

The design is quite well suited to its purpose. I would imagine it's closed for now.

The night time photo give it mystery and is enhancing. In the daytime, it looks...well, interesting. But not welcoming. I'm not good at talking about visual effects. It does have that mighty snow covered peak in the background in the day time view! So glad you can see it every day.

(As for the virus shot, like most old people, I didn't have any bad reaction...our immune systems aren't exactly robust, so the second one will tell the tale. And maybe I will feel puny then.)
