Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Eggleston-esque

Pat and I were cruising around aimlessly the other day and happened to drive past Peak Bowl on Prospect Street, where we found this scene that seemed inspired by a William Eggleston photo. Something about that beat up old minivan with the US flag, the upended traffic cone, the blue of the sky and the large red letters against it just begged to be photographed. Perhaps it's a bit too cluttered to be an Eggleston image, but I like it anyway.
